Minimap binning

Time-based (default) positions bars by timestamp — a burst of fast activity compresses into a few pixels and idle stretches eat most of the width. Entry-based positions bars by line position in the file instead, spreading bursts out evenly; the grey background bars stop reflecting real density in this mode (every bucket covers the same fixed slice of the file's line count).

"*" matches any run of characters, "?" any single one; use a longer pattern (more of the surrounding path) if the plain folder name occurs more than once.

In addition to the licenses under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0
below, the licensor grants each individual a license to use the software for

calendar days from their first use, solely to evaluate whether their company
or organization wants to obtain a commercial license. The licensor may extend
